There are many
ways to become involved with the Meritus College Fund, and to help
ensure that more San Francisco public high school seniors can achieve
their educational dreams.
Contribute to a scholarship
Community members who value education can contribute as little as $600 per year to be part of a scholarship group and commit to the four-year scholarship. The group has the opportunity to name the scholarship and, best of all, to meet with and get to know their Scholar.

Volunteer for the mentoring program
As a part of the student support program, Connections, community members volunteer as mentors. Each Scholar is paired up with a mentor, who stays involved during the Scholar's four years in college. Connections includes counseling, mentoring, career exploration and leadership development, and alumni resources. See Connections Mentoring for more information.

Provide an internship
Internship opportunities are always welcomed for Meritus' program, and Meritus is always looking to connect Scholars with summer internships at local organizations. Organizations that would like to offer a deserving Meritus Scholar a summer internship opportunity can establish an agreement with Meritus co-sponsor the Scholar's stipend.
Consider hosting a student for the summer in a six week paid position.

Other ways to contribute
Many individuals donate their time as a Meritus volunteer: you can assist with grant-writing,
fund-raising or mailings, you can help staff a Meritus event, or
you can donate your business location and catering to host an event.
Employer Matching
programs and corporate volunteer release time can help you increase
your gift to Meritus.
Whatever way
you choose to become involved, we welcome your support of the Meritus
mission. Your gift will directly help a growing number of deserving
students reach their educational goals and achieve their full potential!
